The delegation presented bouquet and donation to Ven. Tenzin Palmo to express Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism's sincere welcome and enthusiastic support.


        The World Headquarters of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism, on receipt of a cordial written invitation from the organization arranging Ven. Tenzin Palmo's visit to Tasmania, performed cautious consideration.  The World Headquarters of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism has already entered Feng Shan (seclusion) period.  However, on considering the sincerity of the inviting organization, the tough seclusion practice of Ven. Tenzin Palmo in the snowy mountains for twelve years and that she is a Kagyupa nun who maintains Milarepa's tradition, the World Headquarters of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism despatched a dedicated Sangha delegation of fifteen members to participate in the welcome gathering at Deloraine, Tasmania on Sunday, 25th June, 2000.  The arrangement was directed by Holy Zhi Ji Vimalakirti Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De.  Elder Guru Vajra Yong Le was appointed as the Head of the delegation and the deputy heads were Elder Guru Vajra Yong Ming and Elder Guru Vajra Miao Guo.

        Elder Guru Vajra Yong Le, Head of the delegation of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism, on behalf of Holy Zhi Ji Vimalakirti Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De and worldwide followers of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism, delivered a warm and friendly speech at the welcome gathering.

        To pay respect to Ven. Tenzin Palmo, in addition to delivering a welcome speech, the Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism Sangha team, also chanted the psalm Utmost Holy Verses which is recited during traditional ritual of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism.

        Deloraine's geographical location is in the north of Tasmania.  The motor vehicles of the welcoming team departed in the early morning and arrived Deloraine at noon after three hours.

        This event included the participation by representatives of various Tasmanian Buddhist organizations and speeches from celebrities from organizations of the community.
