Holy Zhi Ji Vimalakirti Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De is apologizing to all of you because He cannot be present in today's gathering as Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism is undergoing Seclusion.  On His behalf, we would like to express our deep apologies.

        Please allow me to represent organizations of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism including Jin-Gang-Dhyana Incorporated and Jin-Gang-Dhyana WANG Xin-De Foundation and their Jin-Gang-Dhyana Institute, Editorial Department of Tasmanian Buddhism and over three million followers of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism, to welcome Venerable Tenzin Palmo to Tasmania, Australia, where the World Headquarters of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism is located.

        We deeply respect Venerable Tenzin Palmo, for the benefit of sentient beings, despite tiredness and hardships, is spreading to humanity Buddha Dharma, a teaching which highly contributes to world peace and harmony.  People of this technological advanced age of the 21st century, should note, attempt to understand and take up this spirit.

        Why is it that a lady from the western world, for several decades, wanted to be away from her original home, spent twelve years of lonely and difficult life in a cave in the snow?   Why is it that now she, being travel-worn and weary, is spreading the message of Dharma?

        We believe that if only people attempt to clearly understand the belief which has all along been supporting her.  They will appreciate that Buddha Dharma is able to practically and feasibly provide to humanity the necessary relief from immediate and eternal sufferings.

        People who have been in preliminary contact with Buddhism might have the impression that Buddhism is merely ritualistic, or how to get on life easier, or to relax mentally by meditation.  Well, these are the fairly basic and most superficial understanding.

        We need to know how proper Buddhist practice can solve human's immediate problems of this life and how to best prepare the quality of life on the eternal scale.  This is one of the most worthwhile key issue to be explored by human beings.

        Once again, I wish to sincerely thank the many friends who have spent so much effort and time in bringing Venerable Tenzin Palmo here and made this gathering harmoniously successful, including: Ms Pam Claxton of Arcoona and the Ward family members of Sukhavati Forest Retreat.  And of course, we warmly welcome Venerable Tenzin Palmo to this peaceful and harmonious island state of Tasmania.
