Before the parade began, Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism held a ceremony for the dotting of the dragon pupil. Representing our current Patriarch Holy Zhi Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Master WANG Xin-De, Elder Guru Vajra Hui Lan declared the commencement of the dotting of the dragon eye ceremony. The blind dragon flew around vigorously without any sense of direction. It pleaded all the honoured guests for sight by going to each of them face to face. Honoured guests included the Deputy Lord Mayor, Director of World Institute of Nonviolence and Reconciliation, the Professor of Philosophy from the University of Tasmania, a Tibetan scholar from the University of Tasmania, and representatives of Hobart's media and major enterprises. After the eyes of the dragon were dotted, Elder Guru Vajra Hui Lan, again represented our Holy Zhi Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De in declaring that the ceremony had been completed with fulfilment. |
