We've all heard of the lion being the king of the jungle; we've all heard of the eagle being the king of birds; now, we hear that the dragon is the king of the universe. People reported to have seen the Loch Ness Dragon wandering in the sea, yet some people still find it hard to believe. But on 18th November 2000, the people of Hobart no doubt witnessed a golden dragon dance gracefully through Hobart City Centre. After many months of hardworking practice, Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism, Jin-Gang-Dhyana Incorporated, and Jin-Gang-Dhyana Wang Xin-De Foundation ultimately revealed the Golden Dragon dance as part of the year 2000 Hobart Christmas Pageant. Over 50,000 people lined up Liverpool Street, Harrington Street and Collins Street to sight the many wonders that the people of Hobart have. Over 60 different groups participated in the pageant including Myers, Royal Hobart Hospital, Chickenfeed and lots more. |
