Jin-Gang-Dhyana Institute is architecturally two structures joined front to back. The front building is classical style with three levels including ground floor. The back building has eight levels including basement. A central elevator serves both structures. The total usable space exceeds thirty thousand square feet among the eleven floors. Facing the building across the street is a multi-level car park with ample parking space to accommodate visitors' cars. Jin-Gang-Dhyana Institute building is one of the high-rises of the city. One can survey the entire city skyline from the rooftop including the harbour area of Hobart. At the street level, the building displays a wide expanse of glass window wall over ten metres wide, flanked on each side by an entrance. One of the entrances is a ramp designed for convenient handicap access. An elegant foyer awaits behind the main entrance. An automatic glass door then opens up the hallway leading to the elevator. This hallway is naturally illuminated by a bright glass wall on the right. Stepping upon the hallway's tiles, one easily feels immersed in the ambience of a higher learning institute. Seclusion in here and in traditional seclusion site are really incomparable. Due to the building's central location, it is natural to witness the hustle and bustle of a busy city street right out front. However, once a Jin-Gang practitioner enters the Jin-Gang-Dhyana Institute headquarters building, it is easy to experience the tranquil, spacious, refined, comfortable and home-like feeling welling from within the inner mind, as if returning from a place full of defilements and afflictions back to a quiet and refreshing site. According to the Jin-Gang-Dhyana Incorporated's plan for consolidation, as well as Patriach Master WANG Xin-De's instruction, we can centralize the currently scattered Jin-Gang-Dhyana Incorporated's offices, Jin-Gang-Dhyana Institutes's headquarters, Jin-Gang-Dhyana Publishing and library, based on their current scale, all into the same building. The Jin-Gang-Dhyana Institute building also has facilities for large scale meetings. The basement of the building includes a specialized exercise room complete with equipment for training in Jin-Gang-Dhyana martial arts and building body strength. There is an area set aside for practising darts, table tennis and pool. There is also a sauna (steam) bathroom next to a modern massaging spa. Each floor has its own spacious and well illuminated toilet facility with specialized feminine sanitary equipment. |
