9月23日，駐墨爾本總領館舉行慶祝中華人民共和國成立76週年招待會。房新文總領事、維州州長艾倫、聯邦議員賈蘭、黃嘉博、維州反對黨領袖巴廷、維州經濟增長和就業部長皮爾森、多位維州議員及各界人士約500人出席。
房總領事在致辭中宣介中國經濟發展、減貧、對外開放合作成就及對世界貢獻，闡釋全球治理倡議內涵，強調應堅定維護包括臺灣迴歸中國在內的戰後國際秩序。房總領事介紹中澳關係及領區對華合作最新進展，表示總領館願同領區各界一道，積極推動維州新版中國戰略落實，共創維州對華關係新的黃金時代。
艾倫州長在致辭中回顧前不久率團訪華併發布維州新版中國戰略情況，盛讚維州同中國友誼，高度評價維州華人社區在促進同中國合作中的積極作用，強調維州對華關係建立在信任基礎上，願繼續深化雙方人文交流及人民友誼，推動維州對華合作不斷取得新進展。
賈蘭、巴廷等致辭嘉賓強調澳中關係及維州對華合作重要性，對華人社區為推動澳經濟社會發展所做貢獻表示感謝。
招待會上表演了精彩的新疆、西藏特色民族舞蹈及中文歌曲聯唱，現場氣氛熱烈友好。來賓們紛紛點贊中國發展成就，積極展望中澳關係及領區對華合作前景。

On September 23, 2025,Chinese Consulate General in Melbourne held a reception to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Approximately 500 people from all walks of life in the Consular district, including Chinese Consul General Fang Xinwen, Hon.Jacinta Allan MP, Premier of Victoria, Dr.Carina Garland, Federal Member for Chisholm, Mr Gabriel Ng MP, Federal Member for Menzies, Mr Brad Battin MP, Leader of Victorian Opposition, Hon. Danny Pearson MP, Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs, several state MP of victoria,attended the reception.
In his speech, Consul General Fang highlighted China's achievements in economic development, poverty reduction, and opening up , as well as its contributions to the world. He elaborated on the implications of the Global Governance Initiative and stressed the need to firmly uphold the post-war international order, including the return of Taiwan to China. Consul General Fang also briefed on the latest developments in China-Australia relations and the consular district's cooperation with China. He expressed the Consulate General's willingness to work with all sectors of the consular district to actively promote the implementation of Victoria's new China strategy, jointly create a new golden era for Victoria's relations with China.
In her speech, Premier Allan reviewed her recent visit to China and its achievements, highly praised the friendship between Victoria and China, and spoke highly of the positive role of Victoria's Chinese community in promoting cooperation with China.She emphasized that Victoria's relations with China are built on trust and expressed her willingness to continue deepening people-to-people exchanges and people-to-people friendship, promoting new progress in Victoria's cooperation with China.
Speakers including Dr.Garland and Mr.Battin emphasized the importance of Australia-China relations and Victoria's cooperation with China, and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the Chinese community to the economic and social development of Australia.
The reception featured a wonderful performance of Xinjiang and Tibetan ethnic dances and a medley of Chinese songs, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Guests praised China's development achievements and expressed positive prospects for China-Australia relations and the consular district's cooperation with China.
