金剛聖源慈善鋼琴音樂會觀眾來信精選（一）
我和妻子參加了由林聖源演奏精選李斯特樂章的慈善鋼琴音樂會
聖源是佛教徒，3歲開始彈鋼琴。五、六歲時，他就已經在為佛教團體演奏音樂會了，從那時起，他就在那些特殊活動中，在州政要和其他貴賓面前演奏。
小時候看不懂樂譜，聖源就聽CD，然後靠聽CD學彈奏。
17歲的他已是一位經驗豐富的演奏家。
多年來，他舉辦了多場音樂會，並無私地投入時間和精力為各種慈善機構籌集資金。尤其是幫助孩子。在他11歲之後，通過他的音樂會，他能夠向各種小區組織捐贈超過150,000元，其中包括為2019/20年度叢林大火呼籲捐贈近110,000元用於紅十字會救災和恢復呼籲。在今天的音樂會上，他又籌集到了28000元。
他曾受邀在布里斯班、墨爾本、悉尼以及我們居住的塔斯馬尼亞演出。他還被邀請到北京演奏鋼琴。
這些年來，他贏得了許多獎項，並成功完成了許多比賽。
他的音樂興趣廣泛而多樣。從搖滾樂到古典音樂，以及混音古典音樂，並創作自己的音樂作品。
他被授予2021年霍巴特市年度青年公民獎，以表彰他的慈善工作。
他鄭重發誓要用他的音樂才能繼續幫助有需要的人。
當我想到這位才華橫溢的年輕鋼琴家和作曲家李斯特時，他們的兩種生活有著明顯的相似之處。
弗朗茨﹒李斯特生於1811年，卒於1886年。他的父母是安娜﹒李斯特（孃家姓瑪麗亞﹒安娜﹒拉格）和亞當﹒李斯特。他出生在奧地利帝國的匈牙利王國。
他的父親會演奏包括鋼琴在內的多種樂器，弗蘭茲在6歲時就開始聽父親演奏。他的父親從7歲開始教他，他9歲時就已經出現在音樂會上。
李斯特想加入教會，但在母親的影響下，他繼續了自己的音樂生涯。

During the course of his life, “Liszt gave away much of his proceeds to charity and to humanitarian causes. Liszt had made so much money by his mid-forties that virtually all his performing fees after 1857 went to charity......He also gave generously to the building fund of Cologne Cathedral, the establishment of a Gymnasium at Dortmund, and the construction of the Leopold Church in Pest. There were also private donations to hospitals, schools, and charitable organizations such as the Leipzig Musicians Pension Fund. When he found out about the Great Fire of Hamburg, which raged for three days during May 1842 and destroyed much of the city, he gave concerts in aid of the thousands of homeless there (2).”

In his later years, he lived a solitary life and joined the monastery Madonna del Rosario outside Rome. He joined the Third Order of Saint Francis. He received the tonsure at the hands of Cardinal Hohenlohe, and after ordination, he was often called Abbe Liszt.

In these two lives, we can see more than the great talent that both of them share in common. We can see a lifelong commitment to helping others by using the blessed skills that life has gifted them to serve those in need.
