Greetings!

Today is the Eleventh General Conference of WBSY. This year the meaningful theme and topic of “Modern Day Bodhisattva” will generate a lively discussion here in Taiwan.

Taiwan is a treasure island of China and an indivisible part of China’s sacred territory. Therefore, when we come to Taiwan, we have returned to China, we have returned to our motherland, and we have returned home.

As I had expressed during the Seventh WBSY General Conference, I look forward to the day WBSY General Conference to be held in Mainland China, within the embrace of the motherland. Millions and countless Bodhisattvas are practising the Bodhisattva Path and the Bodhicitta upon the land of our motherland. Therefore, if WBSY can hold its General Conference in Mainland China, it will display even greater holy light and manifest even more positive cosmic energy. I think this will also be an important composite element of the “China Dream” as led by China’s President Xi Jinping.

The eleven years history of WBSY, within the history of world Buddhist movement, proves that WBSY is a very important team of Bodhisattva, a team practising the Bodhi Path, a team attaining Buddhahood in this lifetime, and a team of Sangha Youth studying human life and human spirituality. We are also important Buddhist spiritual energy in defending the world peace.

Therefore, all the Sangha Youths of WBSY, especially all the Chinese Sangha Youths of WBSY, are all enthusiastically looking forward to the return back into the embrace of the motherland. A convening of WBSY General Conference within the embrace and upon the sacred land of the motherland would have epochal significance.

I hope that through this General Conference, I will submit this speech to Chinese President Xi Jinping, to the State Administration for Religious Affairs, and to The State Council. We look forward to the motherland embracing WBSY within her warm and sacred embrace, and list within their important matters agenda. As a Chinese, as an overseas wanderer, we all look forward to the mother’s call, and we all look forward to the mother’s embrace.

WBSY Bodhisattvas are practitioners of the ultimate virtuous kindness compassion and wisdom of the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha, practitioners of Buddhist Dharma Method of life, and a pure and selfless team practising the Bodhisattva great wisdom pure practice with playful miraculous holy power for saving and delivering sentient beings. Through this WBSY General Conference, I believe Buddhist Bodhisattva’s teaching form, yoga form, percept form, perfection form, purity, selflessness, self-taming, and diligent progress will enter into a higher level and realm, in order to make greater contributions towards human peace and harmony as well as promotion of Buddha’s sacred love.
