今 天 正 是 塔 州 具 有 歷 史 性 的 一 天 。

Today is a very historic day for Tasmania.

這 個 地 方 內 ， 穿 過 馬 路 是 一 座 古 老 的 砂 岩 大 廈 ── 當 時 是 英 國 人 來 到 塔 州 嘗 試 消 滅 原 始 居 民 ， 確 定 在 這 個 地 方 立 足 ， 而 創 造 這 個 城 市 時 所 建 造 的 。

In this place, across the road is an old sandstone building - a building built when the British came to Tasmania, tried to kill its original inhabitants, set their heels on the land, and created this city.

On this side of the road, the Bahai Centre, is a centre for peace and learning, and you have most respectfully and most beautifully decided to hold your conference here, at the entrance to the city.

Thank you all from the city of Hobart for coming, and decided to share with us your learning and to share your many different branches of faith. It's in this that we learn and we grow as a city. We grow as a people and on this island.

Hobart has many beautiful places in it. This is perhaps the most beautiful built place - we have many beautiful natural places.

For your conference here, I hope you can have time to go and enjoy the parks and gardens of the city. I'm sure Master Wang will be able to take you all out and take you up the mountain and waterworks reserve, down to the river, and up around the mountains and the parks, and quiet places for contemplation and thinking - they are very good for that too.
