The Royal Prince
On the night of 8th April, 565 B.C., royal prince Siddhartha, gathered around by Buddhas of multiple heaven realms, was born in Lumbini, a royal park and a scenic spot of Kapilavastu city. It is recorded in the sutra1 that the royal prince was born from the right armpit of His mother. After birth, He manifested thirty-two grand human forms with thirty-two auspicious signs descended from heaven to match and verify them. Siddhartha's mother, actually Nirmanavati2, returned to high heavens seven days after giving birth to the royal prince. People take it as the passing away of the mother of the royal prince. Notes:
