What does levitation demonstrate?
Levitation demonstrates the actual practice and attainment of Jin-Gang-Dhyana. Levitation demonstrates the state of reality which may be created or attained by the practitioner who has purified the mind and cleansed the consciousness under the guidance of the correct dharma and the correct view! Levitation (traditionally in Chinese called kung-hsing) can be practised by everybody. Levitation has never meant to be mysterious. Thus, when we introduced Levitation Yoga to the world, it was not our intention to gain acceptance by wowing the audience, or to puzzle and mystify the spectators. Levitation is the attainment realized through seeking the dharma within one's mind. From it, we can also understand the origin of the appearances of "levitating male deities" and "levitating female dakinis" found in Esoteric Buddhism. Because each one of us innately has this dharma nature, and this dharma nature is flawless and complete in itself, human worries and liberation, sufferings and happiness, realities and transcendency, the finite and the infinite, physical life and eternal life, are all appraised and encompassed by it: sunyata, illumination, enlightenment, and penetrative realization (the actualization of the illuminating sunyata nature of the primordial mind) are all a mere thought away. Practise sunyata with sunyata. True sunyata exists in reality. Attain realization within the current body. Discussing in such manner, the theories of Jin-Gang-Dhyana are the same as those of Zen Buddhism. But the practice and approach are different, therefore attainment levels are also different. In practising the Levitation Yoga, once the consciousness has entered specific dimensions, one can realize unimaginable experiences. (Will be reported in detail within The World of Jin-Gang-Dhyana) During the practice of Levitation Yoga, to both mankind and to the practitioner, the most important mind-body effect and experience are: the luminous purity of mind, and the contended tranquillity of self. Whether you can "fly" or still cannot "fly" yet, the practice of Levitation Yoga will lead you into the special space-time dimensions of "brilliancy, purity, illumination, and sunyata". Using as an example the levitation experiment, in which one's mind merges with the universal nature, we can demonstrate that Jin-Gang-Dhyana is the correct dharma practice appropriate for mankind. Using this physical body as a laboratory, the Jin-Gang-Dhyana practitioner diligently strives to give up all clingings to ego. Once all attachments are discarded, with the body free and liberated, the practitioner has then entered Levitation Yoga. A Jin-Gang-Dhyana practitioner is without ego and without self, and in a state of undefiled purity, communicates with unknown energies in the universe, and receives the blessing power of eternal life in the universe (see details in the book Grand Dharma of Levitation Yoga). The practitioner is realizing the "sunyata, illumination, enlightenment, and realization" (actualization of the light nature of mind) of Jin-Gang-Dhyana dharma. They are the same "sunyata, illumination, enlightenment, and realization" attained by millions of Jin-Gang-Dhyana practitioners. In other words, if everyone on this planet practises Jin-Gang-Dhyana, and everyone has achieved peacefulness within, then shouldn't the world be a peaceful place too? The eighty-four thousand dharma methods of Jin-Gang-Dhyana are for healing the eighty-four thousand physical and mental afflictions of sentient beings. Any religion with fully integrated theological theories should also have practising methods. Traditional Jin-Gang-Dhyana possesses the "functions" of liberating sentient beings, severing their worries forever, terminating sufferings, and achieving eternal life with actual practice and attainment. These are the functions of the traditional Jin-Gang-Dhyana's esoteric teachings. Traditional Jin-Gang-Dhyana is Chinese Esoteric Buddhism. It has long been transmitted away from public view, and endured all hardships for the sake of dharma, demonstrating the magnanimity and peaceful attitudes of Jin-Gang-Dhyana practitioners. Therefore, we say that Jin-Gang-Dhyana is the finest achievement of human civilization. |
