¡@ ¡@ Last year Tasmania was very privileged to host the Crime Stoppers national conference in Tasmania, and earlier that year we were here to see the lion dance and bathe the Buddha. And we thought, what a wonderful idea it would be if we could have the lion dance as part of the opening ceremony of the conference. ¡@ ¡@ Master Wang very kindly agreed to do that, and His followers came to the academy. ¡@ ¡@ The theme of the conference was multiculturalism and the changing face of Tasmania, so it was a fantastic opening to the conference. The young gentlemen who took part in the lion dance were amazing, absolutely amazing. There everybody went home from the conference, and they forgot the business of the conference, all they talk about was the lion dance. So it was a fantastic opening. ¡@ ¡@ Crime Stoppers is very grateful to you and the young fellows for coming down and taking part, and feels very great to have them down there. And as a result of that, a wonderful CD was produced, which we have been able to send to all the other Crime Stoppers units, and no doubt we will have a flurry of phone calls about that as well.
