Dear fathers and mothers, Dear brothers and sisters, Dear honoured guests: We greet the arrival of the 2548th Buddha's Birthday Festival amidst a peaceful atmosphere. The Buddha's Birthday Festival symbolizes the birth of the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha. The Buddha's Birthday Festival also symbolizes a great mother who has completed a great historic mission. She has bestowed upon all mankind the ultimate virtuous kindness, compassion, and wisdom of the Buddha. Therefore, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism, Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism, in celebrating the birth of the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha, is simultaneously commemorating this great mother. From this, the compassionate notion has been unfolded and developed into a general respect for all females. This has become a "non-shared Dharma" of Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism, Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism. With this "non-shared Dharma" as its core, the "Holy Tantra Non-Shared Dharma" series has become a striking characteristic of Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism, Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism. According to the recording in the Maha-Mayadevi Sutra, a Holy Tantra scripture: The Buddha's holy mother Maha-Mayadevi, originated from the unrestrained dominating abode of the Maha-Mayadevi, the Court for reception and assistance of sentient beings, in Bhagavan Vajra Dharmadhatu Palace. Maha-Mayadevi descended into the secular world from the "Court for reception and assistance" as the incarnation body of Madame Maya. She gave birth to the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha, the Crown Prince Siddartha, and returned to Maha-Mayadevi seven days after the "mother's crisis day (a traditional Chinese term to describe birthday)." Maha-Mayadevi Sutra publicly declared this extremely sacred and major cosmic event. Therefore, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism, Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism, in the annual festivities celebrating holy Buddha's Birthday, celebrates the birth of Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha, and celebrates Madame Maya's return to Maha-Mayadevi. This has become a major event in the wonderful great theatric show for extensively delivering sentient beings into Bhagavan Vajra Dharmadhatu Palace, and for sentient beings to attain Buddhahood in their current lives. All female guests participating in the Buddha's Birthday Festival are invited to play the role of the "Great Maha-Mayadevi." They will "complete" the important historic mission of "giving birth" to the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha, and become the role models for female to "attain Buddhahood in this life." Through this activity, the human character of every female guest will be elevated to that of Buddha's character, and elevated to become the "Dharma Nature Body," the great application generated from the "Correct Dharma Wheel Body" of the Great Maha-Mayadevi. This incorporates immeasurable merits, boundless Dharma joy, incomparable holiness, and highest purity. The male guests participating in the Bathing Buddha Festival Dharma Meeting are invited to play the role of Buddhas of multiple heavens. From the height of the Great Maha-Mayadevi of Bhagavan Vajra Dharmadhatu Palace, they pour forth ambrosia holy water to bathe the Crown Prince Siddartha, to bathe all mankind and immeasurable sentient beings in the ambrosia Dharma nature. Every guest participating in the Bathing Buddha Dharma Meeting will personally participate in the bathing of Crown Prince Siddartha. Their wonderful wishes, shall follow the immense merits, and achieve the perfect accomplishment of "attaining Buddhahood in this life." In this year's holy Bathing Buddha Dharma Meeting, we shall also perform Holy Dharma Lions for our guests. Lion dance is a traditional Chinese cultural programme. Lion dance signifies the extensive worldwide dissemination of Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism, Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism. The rationale is that, in the traditional doctrinal ideals of Holy Tantra Buddhism, the expressed Dharma of "Lion" is "Holy Dharma." "Lion" is specifically "Dharma Lion," and further reverently addressed as "Holy Dharma Lion." In the traditional doctrine of Buddhism, "lion's roar" carries the implication of subduing and receiving heretical schools, and demonstrates the traditional holy and cosmic power of Holy Tantra Buddhism. Lion dance activities, in traditional Chinese culture, carry the connotation of joyous festivities and revelries. Wishing to bring joy, happiness, peace, and auspiciousness to every guest! Finally, I wish every guest to have a wonderful and unforgettable morning! Thank you everyone! |
