Peace and Joy

          On that day, early in the morning, elder gurus, gurus, and vajra brothers and sisters who attended this silent Dharma dissemination Dharma meeting all arrived at the pageant starting position to make preparation.

          To the left and right of the site for dragon eye dotting, some vajra brothers and sisters who came specially from around the world, as well as some local Buddhists who participated in this Holy Tantra activity, were holding four banners.  On the four decorated vehicles participating in the pageant were also various banners.  The banners were in English, displaying:

          Merry Christmas;

          Happy New Year;

          Harmonious coexistence of religions;

          Solidarity of the world's religions;

          Buddhism promotes benevolence and compassion;

          Peace, harmony and prosperity ...

          One of the honoured guests of the eye dotting ceremony, Dr. Anna Alomes, Director of the World Institute for Nonviolence and Reconciliation, a leader of the local Buddhist community, upon seeing the banners, was moved to tell Holy Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master, "I see that your banners are all well written and they stirred up some of my thoughts and feeling.  I hope other religions can see these banners and would feel the same way."

          It is our small wish to bring peace, harmony and joy to Tasmania and the entire world; to unify the world's religions; and to induce different schools of the same religion to mutually value, harmonize with, understand, and support each other.
