Content Summary

The spiritual development of transcendence can point out the basis and importance that all religions are the same. The formation of each religion is the result of mankind’s different transcendence experiences. In other words, it is the product of transcendence under different times and dimensions in order to suit sentient beings with various root capacities. Hence, the origin of all religions in the world is the same. Due to this sameness, all religions in the world are ultimately the same.

Of course, due to human error in reading the transcendence experience, there are developments of the so-called “religions” where its nature is misanthropic, anti-society, non-compassion, and even violence. Misreading of religious doctrines cannot be interpreted as the correct analysis of expounding spiritually on transcendence. They have already detoured from the spiritual guidance of cosmic morality; and damaged the proliferation of the cosmic life. This is definitely not the embodiment of the cosmic will.

Currently, there’s a common belief. “Religion is a type of super-worldly and supernatural society consciousness. Hence, the behaviour for faith and worship is a cultural system that standardizes and systemizes the synthesis of this consciousness and behaviour.” Here, I am not trying to state my own theorem on religion, and I am especially not trying to contradict religions being defined as a cultural system. What I am trying to say is that, Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master’s holy paper had ingeniously mentioned that religion belongs to spiritual tradition. Hence, spiritual tradition can be defined as a cultural system. However, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism has further sublimated the position of Buddhism to the cultural treasure of cosmic spiritual nature.

The modern interpretation of the Avatamsaka Arya Pratyaya (hua yan holy condition/connection) plus the Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism’s worldly dharma methods can liberate sentient beings with holy connections by just seeing it or hearing it. They can all enter Buddha path happily and freely.

Forward

A Brief Discussion of Buddhism Beyond Boundaries was selected by the 2nd World Buddhist Forum, China. This historical milestone was not only a result of constant spiritual blessing from Buddhas of multiple heavens and holy ancestral Masters, but it was also an ingenious showing of how Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master disseminates holy teachings, and of how an old tree grows new flowers. Once this holy paper was selected, it was swiftly spread around the world through the global Internet. The holy cosmic energy had reached all dimensions and times; countless sentient beings were liberated immediately. As a sangha of Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism, my heart was filled with dharma joy that could not be described in words. My body and spirit were filled with light and tranquillity to a point where I could not stop praising.

The eras are changing with new centuries replacing the old ones. As a spiritual treasure of all mankind, Buddhism has been evolving, disseminating, transmitting, and developing into one of the world’s three great religions today, along with Christianity and Islam. The three great religions, being able to coexist simultaneously, are the spiritual products of world civilization. It is also the positive and persistent showing of how the western and eastern spiritual and cultural traditions have been developing on separate paths.

Nowadays, our society generally recognizes Buddhism as the major global religion, which is full of wisdom, compassion, and kindness. The most commonly accepted holy Buddhist teachings are to promote world peace, human harmony, and non-violence.

After entering China, Buddhism has developed and evolved for over two thousand years. According to its geographical location for dissemination and the cultural differences, Buddhism has shown different facade and uniqueness in each and every historical era.

Within Buddhism, there is always the choice of folk Buddhism, elite Buddhism, or essence Buddhism. In general, the differences are in theoretic Buddhism and applied Buddhism. Theoretic Buddhism strives to research and study the profound teachings, whereas applied Buddhism aims to attain Buddhahood.

The development history of Buddhism has already told us, in order to liberate sentient beings from all miseries and attain ultimate happiness, the dissemination and spreading of Buddhism have been closely following the footsteps of each eras, and yet Buddhism contains the ability to prophesize the future history.

In Terms of Transcendence, All Religions are the Same, the World is the Same

The eras are changing with new centuries replacing the old ones. As a spiritual treasure of all mankind, Buddhism has been evolving, disseminating, transmitting, and developing into one of the world’s three great religions today, along with Christianity and Islam. The three great religions, being able to coexist simultaneously, are the spiritual products of world civilization. The spiritual development of transcendence can point out the basis and importance that all religions are the same. The formation of each religion is the result of mankind’s different transcendence experiences. In other words, it is the product of transcendence under different times and dimensions in order to suit sentient beings with various root capacities. Misreading of religious doctrines cannot be interpreted as the correct analysis of expounding spiritually on transcendence. They have already detoured from the spiritual guidance of cosmic morality; and damaged the proliferation of the cosmic life. This is definitely not the embodiment of the cosmic will.

The wheel of time has returned to the end of last century. Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism sent representatives to attend the 1999 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa. At the Parliament, Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master addressed the concept of “All Religions are the Same” in His speech. After ten years of practice, A Brief Description of Buddhism Beyond Boundaries has re-emphasized the theoretical basis of all religions are the same, from a higher spiritual level of cosmic transcendence. This is to promote peaceful dialogue in transcendence among religions and to build the global ethics of transcendence step by step. In the modern society so filled with conflicts, these are extraordinary methods to solve problems in reality. These also show the spiritual meanings of eternal life.

Global ethics in transcendence is the actual practice of the cosmic morality and cosmic life. Using actual practice to promote the fact that all religions are the same, this is also the ultimate wish of all mankind.

Buddhist Practitioners Need to Practice According to Dharma to Spiritually Attain the Truth of Buddhism

Nowadays, our society generally recognizes Buddhism as the great global religion which is full of wisdom, compassion, and kindness. The most commonly accepted holy Buddhist teachings are to promote world peace, human harmony, and non-violence. What is a religion? As a philosophical question, there have been numerous opinions since ancient times. By using their own methods, philosophers, thinkers, and religionists had expounded with their own theorems and hermeneutics on religion based on their own visions and horizons under different dimensions and times.

From the standpoint of a Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhist sangha, Buddhism is a religion; Buddhism is not a religion; Buddhism is not not a religion; hence, it is named religion. Hence, Buddhism cannot be generalized into the word “religion”, or any other religious theorem in the secular world. The reason that it cannot be generalized is due to the way Buddhist spiritually understand transcendence. Worldly languages or human science do not have the ability to describe Buddhist spiritual connotation. In addition, without proper practice of Buddhism, no matter what kind of spiritual experience a person has encountered, one will not be able to completely grasp transcendence, which exists naturally in the universe. Needless to say, there will not be any great application arising from cosmic spiritual nature.

The existence of Buddhism is to liberate from all misery. In order to resolve sentient beings’ current miseries and eternal miseries, Buddhism has spread into the secular world. In order to liberate from all misery, a Buddhist practitioner needs to yoga spiritually with cosmic transcendence. The truth of Buddhism, cosmic reality, cannot be explained in words, and cannot be imagined in mind. The truth of Buddhism can only be obtained through Buddhist meditation. Through Buddhist meditation, one can attain ultimate sunyata, existence, and ultimate truth. If one cannot liberate oneself, how can one liberate the sentient beings?

Forms of Teachings, Attainment, and Upaya

Within Buddhism, there is always the choice of folks Buddhism, elite Buddhism, or essence Buddhism. In general, its difference is faith in Buddhism based upon superstition or based upon wisdom. The wisdom based Buddhism is also divided into the theoretic Buddhism and applied Buddhism. Theoretic Buddhism strives to research and study the profound teachings, whereas applied Buddhism aims to attain Buddhahood. Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism states the Holy Trantra Esoteric Buddhism’s transcendence language realms as composed by groups of Holy Tantra Esoteric Buddhism’s transcendence secret codes. Transcendence secret codes groups not only can help Buddhist practitioner to reveal one’s mind nature, but to encounter noumenon directly, and to attain cosmic reality directly. This is the ultimate path to profoundly studying the marvellous wonders of the universe revealed by the Buddhist theoreticians. This has also opened the door for devoted scholars to attain primordial dharma nature, cosmic reality, cosmic spiritual nature, cosmic morality, cosmic will, and cosmic life.

More than two thousand years ago, the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha descended into secular world. As the Avatamsaka Arya Pratyaya (hua yan holy condition/connection) matured gradually, Tantrayana Buddhism along with Theravada Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism, and Vajrayana Buddhism had opened doors to liberate countless sentient beings from eternal miseries. The Buddhist fundamental doctrines talk about the teachings of sunyata and selflessness. Due to the differences on each practitioner’s root capacity, each Buddhist school has its own way to ultimately expound upon the teachings of sunyata and selflessness, and to continuously reveal the profound Buddhist teachings.

Theravada Buddhist sangha wants to escape samasara and seek liberation. Therefore, with the relief that human is sunyata whereas dharma is real, Theravada Buddhist sangha practices correct dharma in order to attain Arhanhood. Mahayana Buddhist sangha, at the early stage of Bodhicitta, has the belief that both human and dharma are sunyata; and will attain Buddhahood by disseminating Dharma in six paramitas and tens of thousands of implementations through three asankhyeya-kalpas. Vajrayana Buddhist sangha, by using kriya, carya, yoga, mahayoga, anuyoga, and adiyoga to meditate, generates bindubodhicitta in order to attain Buddhahood in the current life. Tantrayana Buddhist sangha uses Holy Tantra bodhicitta as the cause, and operates the tools of Holy Tantra Ten Dharma Realms’ Mandalas and Six Universes’ Tri-Tantra Dharani in order to reveal spiritual nature of transcendence. In addition, Tantrayana Buddhist sangha yoga in transcendence, strives to attain Buddhahood and nirvana in this life.

Currently, these are the four great Buddhist traditions. Even though each tradition has its own teaching, meditation, practice, and attainment, they are all originated from the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha’s great dharma sea, to help sentient beings with various root capacities. Different Buddhist traditions were formed to ultimately liberate sentient beings. Hence, in terms of the meaning of dharma nature, all dharma are equal, without comparison.

The foundation for the four great philosophical traditions of Theravada Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism, Vajrayana Buddhism, and Tantrayana Buddhism, is the word “liberation”. The Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha came to the secular world for the great purpose of liberating sentient beings. Therefore, if Buddhism detours from liberation theorem, if Buddhism detours from liberation practice, Buddhism will lose its core mission. Consequently, the forms of teachings, the forms of yoga, and the forms of discipline cannot be ultimately unfolded.

The Lineage of Buddhism in the Mortal World

In terms of the ultimate truth, the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha had attained Buddhahood in infinite kalpas ago, and had been liberating sentient beings without pause. In terms of the partial truth, the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha arrived to the secular world more than two thousand five hundred years ago, and made a Holy Tantra Bodhicitta to use the eight aspects of the Buddha’s life to attain Buddhahood accordingly. Subsequently, He kindly observed the root capacities of sentient beings in Triloka, and used his prajna to compassionately teach and tame them with dharma that suited each and everyone. His holy teachings helped the ignorant sentient beings with inferior root capacities and wisdom, to liberate from the samsara and the ocean of misery. His holy teachings were like giving sights to the blinds, and bringing light to the darkness. Ever since Buddhism left India and entered China, whether it’s the Southern Transmission Buddhism or the Northern Transmission Buddhism, they prospered greatly in China through clashing, friction, and polishing with the Chinese cultures.

Once in China, Buddhism had developed and evolved for more than two thousand years. According to its geographical location in dissemination and the cultural differences, Buddhism had shown different facade and uniqueness in each and every historical era. Due to the distinctive cultural and environmental differences between the northern and southern China, the developments of Buddhism in those two regions were vastly different, too. This led to their different emphasis on understanding the holy teachings and worshipping in Buddhism. The southern Chinese emphasized on analysing Buddhist doctrines, whereas the northern Chinese weighed more on worshipping. After a millennia, we have arrived at this modern age of continuously improving technologies and highly developed materialistic civilization where Buddhism is wrongly considered as common and superstitious. Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master’s transcendence hermeneutics not only reemphasized the importance of having both practice and theory but also pointed out it is crucial to work harder on the actual practices, in order for the spirit to yoga in transcendence to attain cosmic reality. This will awake the laggards and arouse the phlegmatic. A Brief Description of Buddhism Beyond Boundaries is a monumental work that shamelessly clears up confusions and bewilderment, and is also a holy practice that serves to make Buddhism stays eternally.

During the Kai Yuan period (AD 713-742) of the Great Tang Dynasty, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism was established in China by three holy ancestral patriarchs. They were Bhagavan the Great Holy Jewel Subhakarasimha Tripitaka, Bhagavan the Great Holy Jewel Vajrabodhi Tripitaka, and Bhagavan the Great Holy Jewel Amoghavajra Tripitaka. With the support of emperors from three generations, they set up mandala halls inside the imperial palace, and experienced the glory of all sangha in China practicing and learning Tantrayana sutras. Later on, by following the cosmic arrangement, the eight orders of holy sangha retreated from the inner bodhimandala of imperial palace, and spread to Buddhist temples all over China where Tantrayana Buddhist teachings were delivered into the populace, which show the true colours of “Buddhism in the mortal world”. All these deeds and experiences were ultimate showing of the cosmic will with the divine revelations of having yoga with spiritual transcendence.

The development history of Buddhism had already told us, in order to liberate sentient beings from miseries and to attain ultimate happiness, the dissemination and spreading of Buddhism have been closely following the footsteps of each eras, and yet Buddhism contains the ability to prophesize future history. Even though Buddhism had experienced glory and disgrace in its birthplace, ancient India, and even encountered extermination there; however, not only did the Southern Transmission Buddhism and Northern Transmission Buddhism enter into other countries without being destroyed, they prospered and grew even bigger. In the end, even though the flowers bloomed inside the wall, their scent, which could be smelled from the outside, had eventually drifted a thousand miles back home. Today, Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master used transcendence to expound upon ancient Buddhist terminology, facilitating modern-educated people to understand and accept Buddhist doctrines. This can even prompt sentient beings with different religious faiths to better understand the intrinsic nature of religions. Subsequently, this will strengthen their faith in their own religions, which has a very positive meaning. This is also a holy act to help Buddhism to align with modern world.

In order to maintain the process of globalization of Buddhism, all Buddhist schools needs to know each other, support each other, encourage each other, and cooperate with each other; this is a continuously inevitable trend for Buddhism to develop positively. If different schools are still obsessed with their own standpoint, Buddhist dharma may still face the danger of extinction, even under the democratic system of the free world, because everyone will look at Buddhism with contempt. Therefore, the transmission of Buddhism in mortal world is especially important.

After the persecution of Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism by Emperor Tang Wu Zong in the late Tang Dynasty, Holy Tantra practitioners used the concepts of Buddhism in the mortal world to survive. They have hidden the path and submerged the reality, disseminated dharma in hundred forms and ten thousand implementations, abandoned the sangha jewel form, concealed and not revealed any trace, retreated from temples and mingled with ordinary people, and to blend into the society. Finally, after brewing for more than a thousand years, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism eventually emits sparkling bright light in modern time.

Promote Transcendence Spiritual Dialogues Among Buddhist Schools for the First Time

Transcendence spiritual dialogues among religions should begin with transcendence spiritual dialogues among Buddhist schools. In terms of this meaning, the founding of World Buddhist Sangha Youth (WBSY) had established a role model for the world. China, who practices mostly Northern Transmission Buddhism and had hosted World Buddhist Forum twice, is a pioneer of “all Buddhist schools are the same”. Thailand, who practices Southern Transmission Buddhism and hosted the International Conference on the United Nations Day of Vesak, had not only begun to accept Northern Transmission Buddhism, but had also, invited Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism to attend its closing ceremony at Bangkok in 2006 and to perform its first ritual. This solemn, unprecedented, holy event was also a new chapter for the Avatamsaka Arya Pratyaya (hua yan holy condition/connection) translated in the modern way.

As we all know, during the process of disseminating dharma, every Buddhist school stands upon the theory of liberation in order to fully expound the truth and superiority of their own religious belief. However, when self-attachment and dharma-attachment arise and cannot be rid of, Buddhist schools will naturally discriminate against each other. As history has shown, Hinayana Buddhists claimed that the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha didn’t teach Mahayana Buddhism, whereas Mahayana Buddhists pointed out that Hinayana Buddhism is not the ultimate. Madhyamada and Vijnanavada of Mahayana Buddhism clashed with each other and argued about non-existence and existence. Many also completely discredited Fo-Fan-Chi-Ming Tantrayana Buddhism, the holy teachings personally established by the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha. These discriminations, which were very serious and obvious in ancient India, eventually, led Buddhism to extinction in the entire India. This historical lesson was especially painful and profound. Unfortunately, there are still discriminations among some Buddhist schools in the modern Buddhist world, just like water and fire that cannot coexist. They are also like unsheathed swords and drawn bows, ready to fight and to destroy each other. This tense situation is subtly presented within the Buddhist world. This tangle of self-attachment and dharma-attachment is deterring the development of Buddhism at a fundamental level.

The Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha said, “You gain liberation by putting it down.” Buddhism is a symbol of harmony, peace, and non-violence. If Buddhist practitioners do not possess harmony, peace, and non-violence in their hearts, how can they liberate sentient beings from all misery?

Buddhism has the tradition of giving back. After Buddhism was extinguished in India, sangha from many countries strove to bring Buddhism back to its motherland in recent eras. China was the place that Northern Transmission Buddhism prospered. After going through persecution in four dynasties under four emperors, each and every Buddhist school in China became weakened and declined. This was when Korean Buddhism and Japanese Buddhism returned many Buddhist scriptures back to China, to ensure each Buddhist school continue to pass on their teachings until today.

Tantrayana Buddhism once prospered in Sri Lanka. Bhagavan the Great Holy Jewel Amoghavajra Tripitaka was a Sri Lankan. After following his master, Bhagavan the Great Holy Jewel Vajrabodhi Tripitaka to China to establish Tantrayana Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty, Bhagavan the Great Holy Jewel Amoghavajra Tripitaka went back to Sri Lanka to practice Tantrayana Buddhism. Hence, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism still maintains this sacred tradition. Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master is serving as the president of WBSY, which is a global Buddhist organization established in Sri Lanka that gathers Theravada Buddhist, Mahayana Buddhists, Vajrayana Buddhists, and Tantrayana Buddhists. Serving as the WBSY president is to thank the Sri Lanka Buddhist world for nurturing Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism in the past. At the same time, bathing Sri Lankans in Holy Tantra teachings is also another way to give back to Sri Lanka.

Physically, Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism is in Australia right now, but His heart misses China, waiting for His call from motherland. Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism is waiting for the arrival of the right Avatamsaka Arya Pratyaya (hua yan holy condition/connection), in order to return this untouched human civilization rare treasure back to motherland.

Right now, we would like to appeal to all Buddhist schools to put down their bias and preconception. Let’s begin with transcendence spiritual dialogue at this new spiritual starting point of transcendence. Let’s all hold hands and walk forward together to glorify the ultimate kindness, compassion, and wisdom of the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha. Let’s make a boundless vow for happiness for all the sentient beings in the universe, and let’s create a brand new future together.

This article was quickly drafted by disciple, Vajra Hung Ching on this Australia trip. There are many mistakes in it. I humbly ask Bhagavan Zhi-Ji Vimalakirti Ahdharma Buddha Patriarch Master and other Teachers to kindly correct them.
